Scope and booking confirmation
These terms apply to new transfer and private-car bookings made after this version is published. All times use Thailand time (UTC+7). Request a written quote and terms via Instagram @thaifun.bkk. Your booking is confirmed only after the agreed payment is received and our team sends booking confirmation. Creating a brief on this website does not send it or confirm a booking. Existing bookings retain their agreed terms.
30% deposit
The deposit is 30% of the transport price and counts toward your fare. The written quote will state the balance deadline, payment method, currency, payee, inclusions and exclusions before payment. Please review these first. If we receive payment but cannot confirm the service, that payment will be refunded.
Cancellation: the 72-hour and 24-hour cutoffs
Cancel at least 72 hours before that transport service starts: no cancellation fee; all payments for that service are refunded. Cancel at least 24 but less than 72 hours before: 15% of that service’s fare. Cancel less than 24 hours before: 30% of that service’s fare. The fee is based on the cancelled, unused transport item, not the deposit or the whole trip price. Payments are refunded after deducting that fee. Multi-day or multi-leg transport is itemised in the quote and assessed against each service’s start time.
How to request cancellation and a refund
Send your name, booking date and the services you want to cancel via Instagram, and keep a record. The cutoff uses the time your message is delivered, not when our team reads it. If Instagram is unavailable, use the backup contact in your booking confirmation. Our team will provide a fee and refund breakdown, method and processing timeframe. Rescheduling, no-shows and overtime arrangements must be confirmed before payment; undisclosed fees are not applied automatically.
Airport pickups include 90 minutes of waiting
With accurate flight details supplied, airport pickup includes 90 minutes of free waiting after the flight actually arrives. Delayed flights use the actual arrival time. If the flight arrives early and the vehicle is scheduled for the originally confirmed arrival, waiting starts at that original time. Contact us promptly about immigration or baggage delays. Beyond 90 minutes, we will discuss extended waiting and any charges for your agreement before arranging it; unagreed waiting fees are not charged automatically. Waiting for airport drop-offs and other private-car services is confirmed in the quote.
Golf, hotels and tickets have separate terms
Golf courses, hotels, tickets and other reservations are itemised separately from transport. Their advance payments and cancellation or change terms are provided for agreement before payment. The transport percentages above do not automatically apply to these items, and the same cancellation fee is not charged twice. Deductions must be itemised and supported; recovered payments are refunded.
If a service cannot go ahead
If ThaiFun or its transport partner cannot provide a confirmed service, we will offer an alternative. If you decline, payments for the affected, unprovided service are refunded without a cancellation fee. Flight cancellations, venue closures or severe weather are handled according to their actual impact through rescheduling, changes or refunds, with any legally deductible, actual unrecoverable costs itemised. These terms do not exclude statutory rights. Instagram accepts enquiries 24/7, which does not promise an immediate response; on the day of travel, use the contact in your booking confirmation.
